PCSX2 is an emulator used for PlayStation 2 games in order to play them on your PC. It gives you access to more than 1500 games.
The only requirement to use PCSX2 is that you need to have a computer that is powerful enough to handle it, and a bit of technical skill and patients in order to configure all the necessary plugins, since each game could require different ones. This program will have optimum performance with Windows XP, but it will work with other versions of Windows, too.
Installing PCSX2 isn’t complicated at all and the program comes with a good setup assistant, despite documentation for the program being somewhat lacking. A big plus with this program is you can save your games, with cheats, at any time, which isn’t possible with the original PS2 console.
